Adventuris is now on YouTube!

I can talk about Norway and our curated Norway Experiences all day long, but no amount of words can describe the majestic and awe-inspiring landscapes and unforgettable moments that come from being there, living, and absorbing it all.

With that in mind, we decided to create an Adventuris presence on YouTube, which allows us to share the stunning videos of our travels with you; and perhaps offer a better idea of what Adventuris and Norway Experiences are all about.

2025 season and a brand-new experience!

I want to use this opportunity to let you know that the "Drive & Fly the Fjords Experience" season is starting soon (mid-May) and goes through September. The 2024 program has been fine-tuned to offer an even higher degree of exclusivity and customization, including new and exquisite gourmet experiences.

Two other programs have also been added to the portfolio:

  • "Ski the Fjords" where you can experience 7 days of skiing on the top of Europe, enjoying the world-renowned Sunnmøre Alps (7500 masl).

  • "Ride the Fjords" offering 6 days of iconic climbs and unforgettable cycling through the stunning and secluded fjord landscape with the guidance and experience of the locals.

Svalbard

I am also very excited to announce an all-new and even more unique experience (!!), which is a weeklong program on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. Its extreme northern location and climate make it one of the most remote places on Earth, holding a special allure for adventurers, scientists, and nature enthusiasts.

Situated in the Arctic Ocean about halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole, Svalbard consists of several islands, the largest of which is Spitsbergen. The archipelago is home to a variety of wildlife, including polar bears, Svalbard reindeer, Arctic foxes, and numerous bird species. The surrounding waters are rich in marine life, including seals, whales, and various species of fish.

Dogsled adventure anyone?

One of the most remarkable phenomena in Svalbard is the polar night and the midnight sun. During the winter months, the sun does not rise above the horizon for several weeks, plunging the region into darkness known as the polar night. The season normally goes from early October to late February. Conversely, during the summer months, the sun does not set for several weeks, resulting in 24-hour daylight, also known as the midnight sun. Aside from its natural beauty, Svalbard also holds historical significance as a base for Arctic exploration and research.

Overall, Svalbard's rugged landscapes and unique wildlife make it a truly remarkable and unforgettable destination for those wishing to venture into the magic of the Arctic wilderness. Given the archipelago's fragile environment, tourism is strictly regulated by the Norwegian authorities. Interested? Just reach out to be put in the list.
